Scouts Camp, Hike and go Diving!

Scouts climb the Chief

Our troop made the hike up the Squamish Chief May 4th. The weather held off perfectly, driving to camp we ran into rain, on the trail, it was quite dry. Some concerns about the uphill portion were heard, but once everyone made it up, the view was well worth it!

Scouts go lightweight

Scouts started on their lightweight camping skills practicing lighting the lightweight backpacking stoves to make some noodles and apple cider.  The improvement from the first use of the stoves today has been incredible, it was night and day.

Scouts enjoy a weekend of camping

13 of our Scouts enjoyed a weekend of camping, hiking, geocaching and a great campfire at the Riverside Rec Site near Chilliwack Lake. The Cubs Travel to the Corn Maze

Last Thursday 18 members of our Cub Scout Pack and many parents traveled to the Bose Corn Maze off of 64th Ave in Cloverdale.   Although it was a nice clear night it was very muddy in the rows between the corn.  Special thanks to Hathi, Baloo, Bhagera and Kaa for leading this event.  

Camp Kickoff
