It was a weekend of scuba diving in Powell River for several of our Venturer Scouts as they went and dove the famous Powell River Mermaid!

Our Scouts rode over 70km over 2 days along the Kettle Valley Railroad from Brookmere to Princeton! The riding was tough, and the mosquitoes but the Scouts persisted and made it thru with smiles on their faces! Take a look at some of the photos! [RFG_gallery id=’5′]
It was a great warm weekend for our Scouts as they enjoyed a 2 night paddling trip up Alouette Lake in Golden Ears Provincial Park. Geocaches, wet exits and a massive bailer powered waterfight were highlights of the weekend! [RFG_gallery id=’1′]

With the schools out for a teachers strike it was a perfect opportunity for our Scouts to get out and enjoy the new Sea to Summit trail at the brand new (it opened last week) Sea to Sky Gondola. The going was tough, but manageable and the views were incredible!
